1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Local storage is a separate browser mechanism that a site can use without setting a cookie. This policy covers puretensor.co.uk and explains what we actually use.
2. How We Use Cookies
Cookies: This website does not set first-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or social media pixels.
Local storage: If you dismiss the announcement bar, that preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key "pt-announcement-dismissed" so the bar stays hidden on later visits. That value never leaves your device and is not a cookie.
CDN / hosting: AWS Amplify / CloudFront may set their own technically necessary cookies as part of delivering the site. Those are controlled by that provider, not by scripts we ship.
3. Your Choices
You can clear local storage and any provider cookies through your browser settings. Clearing local storage will show the announcement bar again until you dismiss it.
4. Legal Basis
We do not currently set cookies that require consent under UK PECR. If that changes, this policy will be updated and consent obtained where required under UK GDPR.
5. Updates
This policy is updated when our cookie and local-storage practices change.
